Our name ADabisc is coined from Arabesque,
the traditional and celebrated Arabic art, characterised
by intricate intertwining designs combined with the science
and craft of Advertising. Our name is an affirmation of
our local roots and the world-class service we offer.
Our unique name suggests our approach to each of our client’s
different needs and the solutions we provide. We use our
local knowledge to come up with relevant world-class solutions.
Our name symbolises the integration of Client and Agency,
which we strive for and maintain at all times.

The L and R dichotomy
The fabled roles of the left and right fields of the
brain played a hand in the creation of ADabisc. The
left field pertains to rationality. And the right field
pertains to creativity. Luay Darwish, Managing Director
and Riyadh Makdessi Creative Director, formed ADabisc
in 2003, in a partnership pre-destined by left and right
forces they represent. The irony is not to be lost on
the initials of their names. |
