team initially consisted of 4 people, now it stands at
38.

Luay Darwish
Managing Director Luay has more than 10 years
experience in the marketing and communication fields,
gained from both the agency and client sides. As a Computer
Science and Business Administration degree holder, Luay
began his career at Horizon FCB Jordan in Client Services
working on major clients Johnson & Johnson and Volkswagen.
Luay gained managerial experience at Gropo GFT, an
Italian/Jordanian joint venture. A move to Qatar saw
him take the reigns of Business Development Manager
at Blue Salon before switching over again to advertising
as Managing Director of MC Saatchi. In 2003 he co-founded
ADabisc. Under Luay’s leadership ADabisc has taken
credit for developing some of the leading brands in
Qatar: Salam Stores, Jazeera Mobile and Mozaic.
Riyadh Makdessi
Creative Director
Holder of a Visual Communications Degree, Riad Makdessi,
Creative Director, has 10 years of experience in the
marketing and communication fields, working on both
sides of the fence as a client and an agency professional.
Riyadh’s career spanned Syria, Bahrain and Qatar,
and started at design house, Klik (branding, 3D and
environmental design specialists.) Joining Intermarkets
marked Riyadh’s foray into advertising. Riyadh
later joined MC Saatchi Qatar and his stint at MC Saatchi
saw him meet up with future partner Luay Darwish with
whom he co-founded ADabisc. Major clients Riyadh has
worked on throughout his career include Unilever, Sheraton
and Qtel.
Riyadh’s leadership as Creative Director at ADabisc
has resulted in the agency developing some of the leading
brands in Qatar: Salam Stores, Jazeera Mobile and Mozaic.
